Who Gets FMS? (Fibromyalgia)
~
Answer: According to a paper published by the American College of Rheumatology (ACR), fibromyalgia affects 3 to 6 million – or as many as one in 50 – Americans. For unknown reasons, between 80 and 90 percent of those diagnosed with fibromyalgia are women; however, men and children also can be affected. Most people are diagnosed during middle age, although the symptoms often become present earlier in life.
~
People with certain rheumatic diseases, such as rheumatoid arthritis, systemic lupus erythematosus (commonly called lupus), or ankylosing spondylitis (spinal arthritis) may be more likely to have fibromyalgia, too.
~
Several studies indicate that women who have a family member with fibromyalgia are more likely to have fibromyalgia themselves, but the exact reason for this—whether it be hereditary or caused by environmental factors or both—is unknown. One study supported by the National Institute of Arthritis and Musculoskeletal and Skin Diseases (NIAMS) is trying to identify if certain genes predispose some people to fibromyalgia.

Article: Restoring Cellular Energy Metabolism
by LEF.org … October 2012

FIBROMYALGIA

Fibromyalgia (FM) and chronic fatigue syndrome are conditions that often occur together and are believed to have a similar underlying cause.

There’s accumulating evidence that defective production of AFP is the culprit. Makes d-ribose a natural candidate for therapy for both.

A published case study showed that a woman with both experienced a decrease in symptoms following supplementation with d-ribose.

A larger study followed 41 patients with both. Subjects took 5 grams of d0ribose 3x a daily until reaching a total of 280 grams. There was a significant improvement in all five categories on a standard score:
~ energy
~ sleep
~ mental clarity
~ pain intensity
~ well being
On average, patients reported a 45% increase in energy levels.

Fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue syndrome remain complicated and perplexing to scientists, these findings offer real hope for a solution.

How Can I Identify Eating Triggers?
~
Situations and emotions that trigger us to eat fall into five main categories:
~
SOCIAL: Eating when around other people. For example, excessive eating can result from being encouraged by others to eat; eating to fit in; arguing; or feelings of inadequacy around other people.
~
EMOTIONAL: Eating in response to boredom, stress, fatigue, tension, depression, anger, anxiety, or loneliness as a way to “fill the void.”
~
SITUATIONAL: Eating because the opportunity is there. For example, at a restaurant, seeing an advertisement for a particular food, passing by a bakery. Eating may also be associated with certain activities such as watching TV, going to the movies or a sporting event, etc…
~
THOUGHTS: Eating as a result of negative self-worth or making excuses for eating. For example, scolding oneself for looks or a lack of will power.
~
PHYSIOLOGICAL: Eating in response to physical cues. For example, increased hunger due to skipping meals or eating to cure headaches or other pain.

Parasites in the US Not say US Doctors, WRONG!

Parasites in the US Not, WRONG!
~
PCOS Lady:
Everyone,
~
Parasites are here in many forms manifesting over time in you, around you, etc… Have you noticed more viruses? Colds usually now have a virus attached with them! Many viruses are immune to antibiotics, the list goes on and on… Some medical conditions have doubled and tripled in a few years time like allergies and sinus infections…. Mentioned on The Doctors TV show recently (4/2012)…
~
“You” have to research your symptoms and find the condition(s) that meets most or all your symptoms… These are major reasons why!
~
FYI: US Doctors are not trained to treat parasites or yeast infections in any great detail… US Doctors are not trained to treat fungal or bacterial infections as well… You have to seek a tropical specialist for those…
~ A retired physician’s assistant who started out in bacterial research made me aware of this…
~
Read my Parasite Protocal post for the steps to take…
~
The owner of the Parasite Testing Lab told me this same thing about the US… His research on 100 US proved 32% had parasites… 100 European proved 20% had parasites…

Please read the segment from Huma Health about American doctors…
Plus read through their site, it’s highly informative…

~
WHY ARE WE NOT BEING DIAGNOSED?
We live in a modern, clean, sanitary country – talking about parasites is UNHEARD OF. We Americans consider it to be a Third World problem. American doctors are not trained to recognize or treat parasite infections. American doctors who take a Parasitology course (the study of human parasites) are given information and stats from foreign countries, so these doctors perceive parasites as a problem not associated with the United States. In other words, it’s not talked about, not taught to the members of our medical community and is frankly ignored by most everyone.

The sad fact is most insurance plans/companies do not cover natural remedies, etc…
– Makes me wonder about why not! OR is it a confirmation on making money off us? Keeping us sick, etc…
~ I asked my DO if my insurance would cover an all natural plan for PCOS… He abruptly said “NO they won’t”…
~
More parasite symptoms are redness on your hands arms to elbows and feet to knees days… You may see white spots in the red as well plus may see just red dots that are deep then go light… Heart burn is another feeling you will experience!

Parasitic Infections Are Dramatically Rising
http://morgellonspgpr.wordpress.com/2013/02/27/parasitic-infections-are-dramatically-rising/
~ Morgellons ~ A Mundane Approach… Parasitic Infections Are Dramatically Rising … February 27, 2013…
~ Why would Americans have parasitic problems? Parasites are in every aspect of our environment including the food, soil and water we drink. They are found in every economic level but more so in poorer communities. There are 150,000 ( FACT:  250,000 “bad” parasites types, 50,000 are yeast types) different kinds of parasites. There are only a few that have standard tests to identify the infestation. The parasites are usually discovered during surgery when the failed organ is opened. The shocked surgeons find on examination, parasites infecting the tissue.
~ Who is most at risk for parasitic infections: All of us! It has been estimated that 90 percent of the North American population has at least one kind of worm in their intestine.
