SKELETAL FLUOROSIS

PCOS Lady:
A good friend alerted me to this a couple nights ago… I have concluded that all the toxins mix inside us along with “bad” parasites to create medical ailments, medical conditions, etc… to make the medical industry wealthy, us poor as we slowly are being killed!
~ The video narrated by Darlene is a highly informative with facts from the beginning of fluoride through the years…

Fluoride is a synthetic waste product of the nuclear, aluminum, phosphate fertilizer industries, has an amazing capacity to combine and increase the potency of other toxic materials, and it can cause skeletal or dental fluorosis, which weakens bone and dental matter. It damages the liver and kidneys, weakens the immune system, possibly leading to cancer, creates symptoms that mimic fibromyalgia, and performs as a Trojan Horse to carry aluminum across the blood brain barrier. Also, the pineal gland can become calcified from fluorides, inhibiting it’s function as a melatonin producer, which is needed for sound, deep sleep….

Skeletal fluorosis is a bone disease caused by excessive consumption of fluoride. In advanced cases, skeletal fluorosis causes pain and damage to bones and joints.

Skeletal Fluorosis Phases

Osteosclerotic Phase ~ Ash Concentration (mgF/kg) ~ Symptoms and Signs
Normal Bone: 500 to 1,000 Normal
~
Preclinical Phase: 3,500 to 5,500 Asymptomatic; slight radiographically-detectable increases in bone mass
~
Clinical Phase I: 6,000 to 7,000 Sporadic pain; stiffness of joints; osteosclerosis of pelvis and vertebral spine
~
Clinical Phase II: 7,500 to 9,000 Chronic joint pain; arthritic symptoms; slight calcification of ligaments’ increased osteosclerosis and cancellous bones; with/without osteoporosis of long bones
Phase III: Crippling Fluorosis 8,400 Limitation of joint movement; calcification of ligaments of neck vertebral column; crippling deformities of the spine and major joints; muscle wasting; neurological defects/compression of spinal cord

Symptoms and Side Effects

Symptoms are mainly promoted in the bone structure. Due to a high fluorine concentration in the body, the bone is hardened and thus less elastic, resulting in an increased frequency of fractures. Other symptoms include thickening of the bone structure and accumulation of bone tissue, which both contribute to impaired joint mobility. Most patients suffering from skeletal fluorosis show side effects from the high fluorine dose such as ruptures of the stomach lining and nausea. Fluorine can also damage the thyroid gland leading to hyperparatthyroidism, the uncontrolled secretion of parathyroid hormones. These hormones regulate calcium concentration in the body. An elevated parathyroid hormone concentration results in a depletion of calcium in bone structures and thus a higher calcium concentration in the blood. As a result, bone flexibility decreases making the bone more amenable to fractures.
~
FACTS:
~ Skeletal fluorosis is endemic in areas with high concentrations of fluoride in the drinking water, but it is rare in other parts of the world.
~ Brewed tea has one of the highest fluoride contents among beverages in the United States.

Skeletal Fluorosis—A Real Danger of Excessive Fluoride Consumption

The harmful effects of chronic fluoride exposure on bone are well established. Since the 1930s it has been known that fluoride intake causes excessive bone growth, which can result in joint pain, bone pain, and stiffness. These symptoms are difficult to distinguish from arthritis. Other symptoms indicative of early clinical stage skeletal fluorosis include:

~ Burning, prickling, and tingling in your limbs
~ Muscle weakness
~ Chronic fatigue
~ Gastrointestinal disorders
~ Reduced appetite and weight loss

The second clinical stage of skeletal fluorosis is characterized by:

~ Stiff joints and/or constant pain in your bones; brittle bones; and osteosclerosis
~ Anemia
~ Calcification of tendons, or ligaments of ribs and pelvis
~ Osteoporosis in the long bones
~ Bony spurs may also appear on your limb bones, especially around your knee, elbow, and on the surface of tibia and ulna

In advanced skeletal fluorosis (called crippling skeletal fluorosis), your extremities become weak and moving your joints difficult, and your vertebrae partially fuse together, effectively crippling you. You have a heightened risk of developing problems from even mild exposure to fluoride, such as bone fractures, if you:

~ Are elderly
~ Are deficient in calcium, magnesium, and/or vitamin C
~ Have cardiovascular problems
~ Have kidney problems

Evidence Of Fraud In The Matter Of Water Fluoridation by Darlene Sherrell

Is your town fluoridated? Are they considering adding fluoride to the water supply? If so, you should know that the CDC recommends fluoridation based on the Institute of Medicine’s fraudulent interpretation of their own references.

Increases in fluoride intake from a variety of sources have made water fluoridation the source of an overdose. Children who live in non-fluoridated areas are ingesting just as much fluoride as they did in 1 ppm fluoridated areas sixty years ago. Adults in fluoridated areas are ingesting enough fluoride to cause the arthritic symptoms of chronic fluoride poisoning. [National Research Council – Health Effects of Ingested Fluoride, 1993 & Drinking Water and Health, 1977]

Adding fluoride to the water supply will not improve dental health – but it will produce more cases of disfiguring mottled enamel.

The information below (on site post) is proof of either fraud or incompetence on the part of the CDC with regard to their recommendation for water fluoridation.

Symptoms of chronic fluoride poisoning

The United States Public Health Service (USDHHS) describes the early stages in the progression of fluoride poisoning as “sporadic pain and stiffness of joints; chronic joint pain, arthritic symptoms, slight calcification of ligaments, increased osteosclerosis of cancellous bones with or without osteoporosis of long bones.” The advanced crippling stage is described as “limitation of joint movement, calcification of ligaments in the neck and vertebral column, crippling deformities of the spine and major joints, muscle wasting, and neurological defects with compression of the spinal cord.” [Review of Fluoride Benefits and Risks, (1991) page 46]

Safety Studies?

Catch 22 . . .
There are no diagnostic methods capable of determining whether or not a person’s arthritic symptoms were caused by excess fluoride. Researchers and health care providers cannot confirm or report suspected cases of chronic fluoride poisoning until the condition reaches the advanced crippling stage. The claim for safety is based on the absence of reports which would require non-existent diagnostic methods.

How many of you have been tested for parasites???

I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia over a year ago, but I just found out I have a rare parasite infection. I had a special comprehensive stool test ordered by my naturopathic practitioner. This was NOT a routine stool test ordered by a doctor which often misses many kinds of parasite infections. Parasite infections can mimic fibro and cause chronic fatigue, anxiety, insomnia, digestive problems, irritable bowel, skin rashes and itching, joint aches, muscle aches, food sensitives, etc.
~
If you are diagosed with Fibromyalgia and find yourself getting sicker and sicker like I was, you absolutely need to have a comprehensive test for parasite infections. Parasites are much more common than people realize and many doctors don’t routinely test for them. Individuals with Fibromyalgia are even more susceptible to parasite infections than the normal, healthy person. My doctors, including my rheumatologist, didn’t think to test me for parasites even though I had EVERY symptom of a parasite infection and I am wasting away and one step away from the hospital. If you want more information on the test I had done, send me a private message.

Thank you for posting this. I remember when Dr. OZ was on the Oprah Winfrey show talking about parasites and how the majority of Americans have had them at one time or another. For those of us who are chronically ill… we are more susceptible to parasite infections. I don’t know why western medicine practitioners don’t talk about parasite infections and why you have to go to a Naturopathic physician to address these problems. (or so it seems).

I suffer from multiple problems that I recently concluded were related to parasite(s), either singular or plural. IF you google on parasites and parasite cleanse you may be shocked to find out that when you had worms as a kid and drank some orange liquid or whatever, it wasn’t the only time you had parasites, or maybe ever will come in contact with them. Anti-biotics are often given to people rid the body of all bacteria, but funny thing is people still get sick sometimes more sick, some people have even died from anti-biotics, simply because getting rid of all bacteria is a bad idea. Pro-biotics replenish good bacteria which becomes depleted from overgrowth of candida (yeast) or other parasites that leech into your stomach from city water, meat not well cooked, even from having animals around, and hospitals etc. But sometimes even probiotics are not good enough, and the body starts to need some hardcore anti-bacterial action that wont destroy the good bacteria thats stil fighting to stay alive and keep your immunity up. For some time i’ve had serious stomach indigestion coupled with esophagul spasms, heart palpitations from constant acid reflux, muscle twitching on my left side related to this stomach problem, brain fog, mood swings, even paranoia which at one point i thought i was hearing voices. This may seem funny and even strange but if you do some research you’ll find there are various parasites that can cause all these problems and more including may neuroligical disorders that can end up affecting the whole body. Though the evidence is inconclusive there are some people now claiming that ALL disorders can be related to bad bacterial (parasitic) overgrowth of some kind or another. Just for one example check out http://www.livescience.com/strangenews/060803_tgondii_culture.html that talks about a finding of a parasite carried by cats that can lead to anxiety, depression, and even schizophrenia. But there are many more examples. Anyway, I didn’t know what to believe then I decided to start taking a parasite cleanse (you can usually by a kit at health food stores or health food sections of grocery stores) and even though the first little while was intense as my body was healing, i soon found that most of my problems were diminishing and i was feeling better than ever. Unfortunately, I didn’t do the cleanse the direct way (To avoid all yeast, and sugars) and when I had stopped taking this cleanse ALL my problems returned. So I discovered first hand that all my health problems which came upon me quite suddenly were indeed related to some sort of parasitic attack. And for those people who don’t think that they will get parasites cause they’re really healthy, you should know that even before I somehow became infected I was eating very healthfully, avoiding all refined foods and junk foods, and eating tons of vegetables and what not. But at some time of weakness and not to mention at one point living with about 5 cats in the city, my immune system became weak and BAM i got hit with all these health problems. What I regret now is that even though I was eating healthy I really wasn’t getting enough probiotics in my diet to keep my good bacteria levels up. Fermented foods, though common in some parts of the world where certain disorders seem quite rare, are very much important for one to be able to withstand parasitic infections. Anyways, its something to look into for someone suffering with a disorder or disease or whatever and feeling like the pills or whatever they’re prescribed, though it may be masking the problems, are really not solving them and the real root of the problem is most likely bacterial infection! Good luck to anyone trying to bring their health back… I know i’m still workin on gettin mine back to what it used to be, and i’m still learning. Rome wasn’t built in a day. =)

~ Dr. Flechas is a nationally known speaker on the diagnosis and successful treatment of Fibromyalgia, one of the 10 most frequently misdiagnosed syndromes in North America today. Dr. Flechas is considered to have broken a paradigm in effectively treating Fibromyalgia pain without the use of anti-depressant, anti-inflammatory, or narcotic medications. His treatment involves the use of Nitroglycerine to increase Nitric Oxide, a natural pain killer found in the body. He has recently found the use of essential oils from plants to decrease the pain of FMS.

THE STATISTICS:
~
Although this statistic may be significantly understated due to the frequent misdiagnosis of this debilitating syndrome, Fibromyalgia afflicts between two and four percent of the population in the United States today. Fibromyalgia appears to be most frequently present in women with a ratio of 20 women to every 1 man. It is especially prevalent among those women in the age range of 35 to 55. The average age of first onset is 45. It has been diagnosed in teenagers and in children as young as seven years of age.

THE HISTORY:
~
FMS has been discussed in the medical literature for many years. It was first described by William Balfour, a surgeon at the University of Edinburgh, in 1816. Our medical alertness to this syndrome is on the rise, and as a consequence more and more patients are being diagnosed in today’s medical environment. It is of interest to note that health care practitioners in China have no recorded incidence of Fibromyalgia, nor does it appear in third world health clinics as predominantly as it does in Western nations such as the United States.

Fibromyalgia affects as many as 8 million people in the U.S., occurring mainly in women of childbearing age. Symptoms usually arise between the ages of 20-55 years, but the condition also may be diagnosed in childhood. Among the entire population, it’s estimated that as many as 3-6% of the general population, including children, meet the criteria for diagnosis of fibromyalgia. This would make fibromyalgia over twice as common as rheumatoid arthritis. In general, fibromyalgia is strikes women seven times more often than men, according to a 1998 National Institutes of Health report.

Who Gets FMS? (Fibromyalgia)
~
Answer: According to a paper published by the American College of Rheumatology (ACR), fibromyalgia affects 3 to 6 million – or as many as one in 50 – Americans. For unknown reasons, between 80 and 90 percent of those diagnosed with fibromyalgia are women; however, men and children also can be affected. Most people are diagnosed during middle age, although the symptoms often become present earlier in life.
~
People with certain rheumatic diseases, such as rheumatoid arthritis, systemic lupus erythematosus (commonly called lupus), or ankylosing spondylitis (spinal arthritis) may be more likely to have fibromyalgia, too.
~
Several studies indicate that women who have a family member with fibromyalgia are more likely to have fibromyalgia themselves, but the exact reason for this—whether it be hereditary or caused by environmental factors or both—is unknown. One study supported by the National Institute of Arthritis and Musculoskeletal and Skin Diseases (NIAMS) is trying to identify if certain genes predispose some people to fibromyalgia.

FIBROMYALGIA

Fibromyalgia (FM) and chronic fatigue syndrome are conditions that often occur together and are believed to have a similar underlying cause.

There’s accumulating evidence that defective production of AFP is the culprit. Makes d-ribose a natural candidate for therapy for both.

A published case study showed that a woman with both experienced a decrease in symptoms following supplementation with d-ribose.

A larger study followed 41 patients with both. Subjects took 5 grams of d0ribose 3x a daily until reaching a total of 280 grams. There was a significant improvement in all five categories on a standard score:
~ energy
~ sleep
~ mental clarity
~ pain intensity
~ well being
On average, patients reported a 45% increase in energy levels.

Fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue syndrome remain complicated and perplexing to scientists, these findings offer real hope for a solution.
