SYMPTOMS

Hundreds of symptoms may be due to chronic mercury toxicity. The organ most affected is often the brain, and children suffer the most from many mercury-related disorders. Mercury may be a factor in increasing birth defect rates, autism and other developmental delays, ADHD and other learning disorders, anxieties, bipolar disorder, obsessive-compulsive behavior, panic attacks, neuroses and paresthesias. A medical colleague reports that every case of multiple sclerosis he has seen involves mercury.

The “mat hatters” of the Alice In Wonderland story were real people who worked in the hat industry in the nineteenth century. Many became mentally ill due to rubbing mercury on felt or hides to soften it.
Here is a long list of symptoms and conditions that may be associated with mercury. Note that mercury toxicity is usually found with copper toxicity, and perhaps other metal toxicity. So it is not always possible to separate the cause of the symptoms exactly:
~ Acne – Opportunistic infections cause by general immune suppression.
~ Adrenal insufficiency and burnout.
~ Allergies – Gut wall deterioration via mutated intestinal flora)
~ Anorexia
· ~ Apathy, Feelings of (especially toward property and personal affairs)
· ~ Asthma
· ~ Ataxia
· ~ Autism (contrary to popular belief, there is very strong medical evidence linking autism to mercury)
· ~ Nearsightedness & Farsightedness (by altering interocular fluid eye pressure)
· ~ Autoimmune Diseases (through methionine mimicry and other processes)
· ~ Amylotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS)
· ~ Ankylosing spondylitis
· ~ Arterial Sclerosis
· ~ Mercury activates an enzyme called phospholipase D (PLD) in cells which line blood vessel walls (endothelial cells). This activation causes the release of phosphatidic acid which damages the cells.(2) These damaged cells then accumulate cholesterol-based plaque leading to arterial sclerosis.
· ~ Kuopio Ischemic Heart Disease Risk Factor (KIHD) study: 2,005 men (ages 42 to 60) without heart disease are divided into four groups based on hair-mercury content and tracked for an average of 12 years. Those in the top 25 percent for hair mercury had a 60% increased risk of death from CVD. Those same men had a 70% increased risk of coronary heart disease.(7)
· ~ Myasthenia Gravis
· ~ Parkinson’s Disease
· ~ Acid Reflux – Caused by reduced digestive fluid production.
· ~ Alzheimer’s Disease (See Beating Alzheimer’s) Quote From Book Review: “He had the mercury removed from his teeth and it did not change things. However, some time later when his gums were x-rayed a tiny sliver of mercury was found in the gum tissue. He had surgery to remove this minute piece of mercury and at the moment of its removal he experienced complete lucidity.”
· ~ Aneurysm
· ~ Anxiety
· ~ Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD)
· ~ Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)
· ~ Blood in the Urine

Symptoms may be ill-defined because the exact location and the amount of mercury vary with each individual. Metal toxicity is unlike many infections that have well-defined symptom presentations.

DETECTION

Chronic mercury toxicity does not receive more attention because it is difficult to detect. Simple blood or urine tests are practically useless because the body quickly removes mercury from the blood. It often settles deep in the tissues of the brain, kidneys and liver.

Urine or Feces Challenge Tests. These are common methods for detecting chronic mercury. A high dose of DMPS, a chelating drug that is not safe, is often administered. Then urine is collected for 24-hour hours and analyzed for mercury. The test is almost always “positive”. This may be because mercury is high in many sick people. However, the lab and doctor must be careful not to confuse a “normal” mercury with a mercury produced by a challenge test.
Other problems with this test are that it misses a lot of mercury. The drug does not penetrate the blood-brain barrier very well, so it often misses this key organ where mercury accumulates.

Hair Tissue Biopsy. Any hair level of mercury above about 0.02 mg% is too much in my view. Mercury does not always accumulate in large quantity in the hair. In my experience, however, the hair mineral test provides indicators of ‘hidden mercury’ that are relatively reliable as well. These include:
· An elevated copper above about 2.5 mg%.
· Hidden copper toxicity indicators such as a high hair calcium, a low hair potassium, a low sodium/potassium ratio and a low zinc level. For more on copper, read Copper Toxicity Syndrome.
· Indicators for a hidden zinc deficiency. For more information about zinc, read Zinc on this website.
· Elevated levels of cadmium, arsenic or aluminum often indicate the presence of hidden mercury.

Using these criteria, most people have excess mercury today. This is no surprise. I assume excess mercury is present and contributing to chronic health problems today, especially for those who were vaccinated, those who eat fish at least twice weekly and for those who have or had dental amalgams in their mouths.

Other detection methods. A few practitioners use electrical machines or applied kinesiology techniques (muscle checking) to identify mercury problems. These methods are okay, but are dependent on the skill and clarity of the operator.

Female Hormonal Imbalance

YEAST and PARASITES
~
PCOS Lady:
Ladies, these symptoms are what many of us experience! Many doctors treat the disease in us not us in disease… Which means we are always sick, not feeling our best! Homeopath treats “YOU” naturally! Dr Tien says to treat yeast and parasites together to rid them from you… I have read you have to treat the whole “YOU” at one time since parasites scurry to other areas in your body…
~
Natural Remedies for Female Hormonal Imbalance
~
By Dr. Juliet Tien (Dr. J), D.N. Sc.
~ ~ ~
There are more than 250,000 species of yeasts and parasites. I can not describe them all. The above are most commonly seen among the people in Northern America. In other words, you have been feeding an “extended family” involuntarily. Not only do yeasts and parasites suck your energy, they also deposit toxins after they have a rock ‘n roll party in your body. That’s why you feel fatigued, and also suffer allergy symptoms.
~
This article addresses female hormonal imbalance. Let me ask you a few questions, and please answer honestly.
~
* ~ Have you been plagued with itchy, foul-smelling, yellowish vaginal discharge?
* ~ Do you experience pain during sexual intercourse?
* ~ Are you avoiding sex because you are always tired?
* ~ Are you lethargic no matter how much time you’ve stayed in bed?
* ~ Are your menstrual cycles irregular and painful?
* ~ Are you bothered by menopausal symptoms such as hot flashes, night sweats, sugar craving, weight gain, and loss of libido?
* ~ Are you troubled by mood swings?
~
If any of the above symptoms apply to you, then you suffer from hormonal imbalance knowingly or unknowingly. In order to regain the long-lasting balance, the following are essential natural remedies for you to consider:
~
Yeast-Free Nutritional Program:
All human beings, regardless of gender and age, should adopt a yeast-free nutritional program to regain health and balance. A yeast-free nutritional program contains no sugar, no dairy, no wheat, no yeasts, no alcohol, no caffeine, no nicotine, nor chemicals.
~
You might ask, “What can I eat then?” To learn about the details in terms of what you can eat, and what you should avoid, read my two books, Breaking the Yeast Curse: Food and Unconditional Love for Magic Healing and Healthy and Tasty: Dr. J’s Anti-Yeast Cooking. These books may be available in your local libraries in the U.S.
~
You may deviate from the principles of a yeast-free nutritional program from time to time. As long as you go for moderation, occasional deviation will not spoil your yeast-free nutritional program completely. Do whatever you can. If you could do 50%, you will get 50% of the benefits. If you could do 70%, you will get 70% of the benefits. Don’t wait for the perfect time to start this life-changing nutritional program, because a perfect time may never come!
~
Yeast and parasites are like “Siamese Twins.” They go hand in hand. However, in the herbal market today, you will find herbal formulas for removing yeasts or parasites, but not for both. This is because of the manufacturers’ lack of understanding about how the overgrowth of yeast and parasites occur. In order to enjoy long-lasting health benefits, you must control the overgrowth of yeasts and parasites simultaneously.
~
In addition to a yeast-free nutritional program, if your body is too toxic, you need to consider herbal therapy as well. The following types of herbal formulas are proven to be most effective in helping thousands of my clients regain their hormonal balance.

PCOS to COLON CANCER
~
PCOS Lady:
Colon cancer can be highly silent in ever showing up with symptoms til its to late!!!! ~ Symptoms show through the years and we may ignore them… Here is your ALERT! ~ 50 years old we need tested for a base chart… IF you have colon cancer symptoms get tested then, regardless of age… Colon cancer can be cured if caught early…
~
I know its a “taboo’d” area… Maybe go with a girlfriend or beau and make a day of it with lunch or dinner or ?
Cysters we have all experienced our PCOS journeys for years… Our futures may unfold to include added conditions evolving from PCOS…
~
Some of us are following this path…
~
First: IR – Insulin Resistance
Then: PCOS
Then: Metabolic Syndrome
Then: ??? liver, breast, colon cancer
~
http://pcos.insulitelabs.com/PCOS-and-Metabolic-Syndrome-X.php

~
PCOS and Metabolic Syndrome (Syndrome X)
Women with Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS) have a greater chance of developing Metabolic Syndrome (Syndrome X) – a cluster of increased risk factors for cardiovascular disease which raise the likelihood of a heart attack or stroke. Metabolic Syndrome also increases the chance of developing Pre-Diabetes, a reversible condition, which if neglected, may become Type 2 Diabetes. This latter condition can only be managed in the majority of cases and may require daily injections of insulin.
~
According to the American Heart Association, between 20-25% of the adult population of the United States suffer from Metabolic Syndrome. That’s somewhere between 58 and 73 million men and women.
~
The bad news doesn’t end there, either. PCOS sufferers with Metabolic Syndrome are also at greater risk of developing Gestational Diabetes, which can develop during pregnancy, as well as having higher rates of liver, breast and colon cancer.
~
Only in recent years has Metabolic Syndrome undergone extensive scientific investigation. The medical community has made a dramatic change in the way it views and treats this condition after a growing body of evidence pointed to Insulin Resistance as an underlying cause of Metabolic Syndrome.
~
Signs and symptoms of colon cancer include:
~
~ A change in your bowel habits, including diarrhea or constipation or a change in the consistency of your stool
~ Rectal bleeding or blood in your stool
~ Persistent abdominal discomfort, such as cramps, gas or pain
~ A feeling that your bowel doesn’t empty completely
~ Weakness or fatigue
~ Unexplained weight loss
~
Many people with colon cancer experience no symptoms in the early stages of the disease. When symptoms appear, they’ll likely vary, depending on the cancer’s size and location in your large intestine.
~
When to see a doctor
If you notice any symptoms of colon cancer, such as blood in your stool or a persistent change in bowel habits, make an appointment with your doctor.

Lymphatic System: Manmade Chemicals

Posted in CANCER, LYMPHATIC SYSTEM, PCOS tagged , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , at 9:28 pm by PCOSLady

PCOS Lady: I found this researching PCOS and the lymphatic system…
* IBS is also highly caused by parasites as well…
~ Ladies add this research finding to your breast cancer, etc… knowledge…
~ We all have our own opinions on the “cancer” topic…
~
Man-made chemicals: the hidden role of the lymphatic system in the genesis of polycystic ovary, fibrocystic breast disease, and breast cancer.(Quantum Medicine Update)
~
Townsend Letter
April 1, 2009 by Yanick, Paul, Jr.
~
Breast cancer, the most frequent maligant disease in women, is caused by synthetic carcinogenic chemicals, or positive ionic poisons (PIPs). Discovered by the late UC Berkeley researcher Albert Krueger, MD, PIPs are synthetic chemicals with a positive ionic charge that are extremely hard to detoxify from the deeper lymphatic system. PIPs can be both carcinogenic and estrogenic and typically throw the female hormone system into chaos, leading to polycystic ovaries and fibrocystic breast disease.
*
They are found in everyday cosmetics, food, air, water, and pharmaceuticals, and leach out of the plastics used to package food, all of which have been strongly linked to carcinogensis.
*

While it is well known that carcinogens fuel carcinogenesis, research is scanty on the mechanisms underlying why and how PIPs are stored in the lymphatic and breast tissue and fail to be properly detoxified and excreted by the majority of today’s detoxification protocols. PIPs cripple the deeper lymphatic channels and the biliary networks of the liver, reducing bile production and increasing carcinogenic and estrogenic toxicity. Sadly, research is woefully deficient on PIP toxicity of the deep lymphatic channels in the development of female hormonal disorders and breast cancer.
~
In the October 1994 Townsend Letter, I stated: “The wellspring of the immunologic defense is the lymphatic system.” 33 In the 2001 issue, I started: “We have discovered that a high percentage of IBS sufferers have duodenitis, dysbiosis, stagnant lymph flow, and drainage in the deep lymph channels of the gut. …”[34] Could the widespread increase in breast disease be somehow related to stagnant lymph flow in the deep lymph channels of the gut? In a 2005 Nature article titled “Unlocking the Drains,” we read:
~
After centuries of playing second fiddle to the blood system, our
lymphatic circulation is coming into its own as a key player in
diseases ranging from cancer to ashthma. Once dismissed as a mere
drainage network, the body’s “second circulation” [lymphatic system]
is emerging as a crucial player in numerous diseases … and as a
vital part of the normal immune system. (35)
~
All body organs have deep lymphatic drainage functions. Ina alternative medicine, it is critical to consider both deep and superficial channels as integral parts of the lymphatic system. My medical collegues and I have spent over two decades using every sort of manual and electronic lymph drainage device on superficial lymphatic channels, with only minimal success. Since superficial channels converge to form bigger vessels feeding into the thoracic duct or the right lymphatic duct, clinical approaches should be aimed at restoring deep lymphatic drainage as a way to fully cleanse the body of PIPs.
~
At every level of our physiology, PIPs disrupt our symboises with nature, killing off beneficial commensal cells, so that genetic potential we have for cancer can be played out.
