Reviewing the signs and symptoms to determine if you have Candida Albicans yeast infection Overgrowth.

Candida Albicans yeast infection Overgrowth, Candida Overgrowth (CO) symptoms are so numerous and seemingly unrelated that they can be confusing to both doctor and patient. The majority of people who have CO do not realize they have it until they become seriously ill. Why? Because candida yeast not only steals nutrients from the food that you eat, it then poisons the tissues with waste material containing over 75 known toxins. Candida albicans is linked, directly or indirectly, to the following list of conditions and symptoms. A “symptom” is an outward sign that points to a deeper problem.

~ Self Test: http://www.nationalcandidacenter.com/candida-self-exams/ … Spit Test.
The best time to do this test is the first thing in the morning as soon as you wake up. Before you rinse, spit, or put anything in your mouth, go get a glass of water (in a clear glass). Now build up a bunch of saliva (just mouth saliva, do not cough up anything) and spit it into the glass of water. Observe what happens.
~
My Body Fluids The saliva will float. That is OK and normal. If within 15 minutes you see thin projections extending downward into the water, it is a positive sign for candida. The projections may look like hair, or small strings, like a jelly fish or spider legs, moving down into the water from the saliva floating on the top. Other positive indications might be very “cloudy” saliva that will sink to the bottom of the glass within a few minutes or particles that slowly sink or suspend below the saliva glob. What you are seeing are colonies of yeast which band together to form the strings.

LEAKY GUT ~ CO Dysbiosis
http://www.drdooley.com/gut-dysbiosis-therapy.php
It is estimated that over 30 million people in the U.S, predominantly women, suffer from the multiple effects of an imbalance in the gastrointestinal system.
The gut has three primary functions:
~ Digestion of foods and conversion into vitamins
~ Absorption of nutrients
~ Prevention of toxins and pathogens from entering the body
~
When the Gut Is Healthy
Approximately 500 species of bacteria, as well as many species of yeast and other organisms, live in the human gastrointestinal tract and make up the “gut flora.” These “friendly” bacteria are vital for good digestion and the health of the intestines in general, and mostly have names beginning with “Lactobacillus” or “Bifidobacteria,” which denotes the class of bacteria they belong to. You may have noticed food products like yogurt and acidophilus milk that contain these bacteria. It is becoming more common for them to be added, just as vitamins and minerals are frequently added to breakfast cereals, for example.
~
When the gut flora is in a healthy balance it is called “orthobiosis,” which is a term introduced in the early 1900s by the great microbiologist Elie Metchnikoff. When our gut is out of balance we are said to have “dysbiosis.” Metchnikoff thought dysbiosis so concerning that he coined the expression “Death begins in the GUT!”
~
What Can Go Wrong?
Not all of the hundreds of species of organisms that make up the gut flora are “friendly.” There are also a number of organisms that don’t provide the body with any benefits, or do so only when their numbers are kept low by competing friendly bacteria. Such microorganisms include coliform bacteria (E.coli, etc.), yeasts/fungus, parasites, and bacteroides.
~
Illness can occur when the amount of friendly bacteria is reduced and the other organisms are able to increase their numbers and become the majority. There are a number of factors that can disrupt the balance of organisms in the intestines and lead to overgrowth of the less desirable species.
The most important factors are:
~ Antibiotic use (abuse)
~ Use of the birth control pill
~ Use of other hormones, especially immunosuppressants like steroids
~ Diet, especially one high in sugar
~ Alcohol
~ Stress
~
Conditions often caused by dysbiosis include Irritable Bowel Syndrome, acne, food allergies, Chronic Fatigue and depression. But you can help repopulate the good bacteria by eating foods that contain natural, healthy bacterias, including yogurt and acidophilus milk. You also can take an acidophilus supplement and something called Fructo-oligosaccharides (FOS), which is a plant-based supplement that serves as a “super food” for these good bacteria.
~
Gut dysbiosis can lead to changes in the lining of the bowel that increases the permeability of the intestine, resulting in leaky gut syndrome.
~
Symptoms of Leaky Gut Syndrome / Intestinal Permeability
Symptoms include:

abdominal pain ~ asthma ~ chronic joint pain ~ chronic muscle pain ~ confusion ~ fuzzy or foggy thinking ~ gas ~ indigestion ~ mood swings ~ nervousness ~ poor immunity ~ recurrent vaginal infections ~ skin rashes ~ diarrhea ~ bed-wetting ~ recurrent bladder infections ~ poor memory ~ shortness of breath ~ constipation ~ bloating ~ aggressive behavior ~ anxiety ~ poor libido ~ fatigue ~ and just feeling “toxic”.
~
Leaky gut syndrome is associated with the following conditions:
Bloating and weight gain ~ Chronic fatigue syndrome ~ Celiac disease ~ Crohn’s disease ~ Environmental illness ~ Hives ~ Acne ~ Allergies ~ Inflammatory joint disease / arthritis ~ Intestinal infections ~ Pancreatic insufficiency ~ Ulcerative colitis ~ Giardia ~ Eczema ~ Psoriasis ~ Food allergies and sensitivities ~ Liver dysfunction ~ Rheumatoid arthritis ~ Irritable bowel syndrome
~
Candidiasis
When the natural yeast or fungi found in the body grows out of control, it can result in a condition called Candidiasis, an infection caused by a species of Candida fungi, especially Candida albicans. These fungi are found almost everywhere in the environment, and some may live harmlessly along with the abundant “native” species of bacteria that normally colonize the mouth, gastrointestinal tract and vagina. The growth of Candida is usually controlled by the presence of the native bacteria and by the body’s immune defenses. If the population of native bacteria is decreased, especially by antibiotics, or if the immune defenses are weakened by illness malnutrition, or certain medications (corticosteroids or anticancer drugs), Candida fungi can multiply enough to cause symptoms by spewing many toxins into the bloodstream and liver. It can affect many different parts of the body, causing either localized infections or overwhelming illness, depending on the patient and his or her underlying health.
~
Candidiasis can usually be found in exposed and most part of the body, such as the mouth and throat (called thrush), the vagina (usually called a yeast infection), and in the case of children, as diaper rash. Candidiasis can overwhelm the whole body, and in some people can result in not only stomach distress such as bloating and gas, but also in fatigue, depression, anxiety, skin eruptions, and immune system malfunction.

PCOS Lady:
Many people are experiencing wanting to faint… That feeling in time is progressing to actually passing out! Many doctors are not looking further than minor diagnosing of fatigue things… Leaving symptoms to progress extremely fast in cases!
~ 2 friends i know have passed out… Both in their early 50’s… One woman passed out at work(she declined any info)… The other a man and his story is posted in a post here… Almost Fatal Crash …. https://pcoslady.wordpress.com/category/fatigue-2/
~ He now is working with a cardiologist that is putting him on a rotating table to measure his results…
~ I watched his symptoms progress extremely fast over 4 months! He and his friend are very lucky to be alive after the crash!

~ NINDS: National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke …
~
What is Syncope?
~
Syncope is a medical term used to describe a temporary loss of consciousness due to the sudden decline of blood flow to the brain. Syncope is commonly called fainting or “passing out.” If an individual is about to faint, he or she will feel dizzy, lightheaded, or nauseous and their field of vision may “white out” or “black out.” The skin may be cold and clammy. The person drops to the floor as he or she loses consciousness. After fainting, an individual may be unconscious for a minute or two, but will revive and slowly return to normal. Syncope can occur in otherwise healthy people and affects all age groups, but occurs more often in the elderly.
~
There are several types of syncope. Vasovagal syncope usually has an easily identified triggering event such as emotional stress, trauma, pain, the sight of blood, or prolonged standing. Carotid sinus syncope happens because of constriction of the carotid artery in the neck and can occur after turning the head, while shaving, or when wearing a tight collar. Situational syncope happens during urination, defecation, coughing, or as a result of gastrointestinal stimulation. Syncope can also be a symptom of heart disease or abnormalities that create an uneven heart rate or rhythm that temporarily affect blood volume and its distribution in the body. Syncope isn’t normally a primary sign of a neurological disorder, but it may indicate an increased risk for neurologic disorders such as Parkinson’s disease, postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome (POTS), diabetic neuropathy, and other types of neuropathy. Certain classes of drugs are associated with an increased risk of syncope, including diuretics, calcium antagonists, ACE inhibitors, nitrates, antipsychotics, antihistamines, levodopa, narcotics, and alcohol.

VASOVAGAL
~
Vasovagal Reflex
~
Why do some IBS sufferers have these symptoms? The most likely explanation is the body’s own vasovagal reflex. The reflex stems from our vagus nerve, which is a nerve that travels from our brains to our colons, and contributes to a wide variety of physical functions, including swallowing, speaking, heart rate and digestion.
~
The vasovagal reflex is a sudden triggering of the vagus nerve. This may occur in response to a variety of factors, including:
~
~ Fear
~ Emotional stress
~ Gastrointestinal illness
~ Pain
~ Sight of blood
~ Standing for a long time
~ Standing up quickly
~ Trauma
~ or another one for you! (everyone is different on thresh holds)
~
The reflex results in an abrupt dropping of blood pressure and a sudden reduction in heart rate. At its worst, the reflex will result in fainting, as blood flow shifts away from the head and down into the legs. Fainting that is triggered by the vasovagal reflex is called vasovagal syncope.
~
WARNING SIGNS
~
At the appearance of warning signs such as;
~ lightheadedness
~ nausea
~ cold and clammy skin
~
Counter-pressure maneuvers that involve gripping fingers into a fist, tensing the arms, and crossing the legs or squeezing the thighs together can be used to ward off a fainting spell. If fainting spells occur often without a triggering event, syncope may be a sign of an underlying heart disease.
~
YOU may experience the scenario listed below like my male friend does every time now…

~ no evidence of a problem…
~
NOTE:
This scenario happens with no trail of evidence to track… Even a heart monitor may not pick up on it! Triggers cause the episodes, but may not cause them every time!
~ YOU must keep a journal on your episodes… List the triggers, the feelings, your symptoms, the time of day, how long out, how you felt after, etc… IT all shows your caring cardiologist a pattern…

Vasovagal Syncope
~
Medical Author: Benjamin C. Wedro, MD, FAAEM
Medical Editor: Melissa Conrad Stöppler, MD
~
Vasovagal syncope is a common cause of fainting. The vagus nerve is overstimulated and causes the body’s blood vessels to dilate and the heart to slow down. This anti-adrenaline effect decreases the ability of the heart to pump blood upward to the brain against gravity. Without blood flow, the brain turns off. In Victorian England, when this happened because young ladies’ sensibilities were easily offended, this was called a swoon.
~
Fortunately, the body is able to correct this temporary problem and return normalcy to the circulatory system in a matter of seconds. Unfortunately, that time delay allows the faint to happen, and while the faint itself is not a big deal, the potential complications may be. Falling is tough as you get older, kids bounce but adults tend to break. Imagine fainting while driving a car or swimming in a lake. While the grizzled veterans of the medical community laugh at the “routine faint” and then welcome the new students into their fraternity, blacking-out is not something to be taken lightly.
~
People faint at the sight of blood. Parents faint when their kids get immunized. Older people faint in church. Many types of emotional and physical stressors can stimulate the vagus nerve to do damage. But on occasion, the cause of the faint is not vasovagal syncope but something more serious. Encouraging the person to seek medical care or calling 911 may save a life. While it may be an inconvenience or sometimes an embarrassment to a patient, being unconscious is not normal. It may be easily explained…but it’s not normal.

MEN ON CHEATING

Why Do Men Cheat?
~
PCOS Lady
I have been watching and hearing about women push their men away for years… You know who you are! Then those women get infuriated at their men and his new “woman” that they caused to happen!
~ For years i have been bombarded by men of all ages (20’s through 70’s) … I asked every one that was attached why he was looking outside his relationship… I then asked if they talked to their partners about it and their woman’s reply… Most women refused to talk about it! Most had hormone imbalance issues! Issues they refused to have looked into with a doctor!
~ Men seek what they do not have with their wife at home!
~ Men tell me they love their wife…
FACT: Men show their love for you in making love to you!
~ If you are refusing his love making you are not wanting him!
~ Affection counts big with men as well!
~
Women, you must look at yourself and weigh if he is what you want in life, etc…
~
If he is not your “perfect” man, turn him lose without:
~ “breaking” him over your mistakes!
~ punishment
~ abuse of various kinds and degrees
~ a vendetta schemed out over years
~ a nasty divorce
~ etc…
* THANK YOU! … When you treat your men bad, it really makes it rough on the next woman! You know the truth of a scorned woman, it goes both ways in various degrees, etc… *
~ KARMA… Read up on it!
~
Women please own up to your mistakes and get help!
~ You know who you are…
~ Fix, resolve your childhood issues!
~ Fix, resolve issues from past men in your life!
~ Learn how to love “YOU”, then you can love a man…
~ Oh, there are far more females in the world then there are men!
FACT: Females are complex (men try to figure us out), men are simple in their thinking, etc…
~

* “Good” and honest men are out there… *

Why Do Men Cheat?
~
It’s Not Just About Sex…and She May Not Be Any Better-Looking Than You
~
Some men cheat… Faithful mean are out there….
Some statistics say that roughly 50% of married men will cheat, and the vast majority won’t admit to it even after a woman asks the searing question, “Have you been unfaithful to me?”
~
A marriage counselor for over 20 years, rabbi and author Gary Neuman conducted a two-year study involving 200 men — 100 who cheated and 100 who remained faithful. His findings form the basis of his 2008 book The Truth About Cheating: Why Men Stray and What You Can Do To Prevent It.
~
Of the men surveyed:
~
~ 92% say it’s not just about sex
~ 88% say the other woman isn’t better looking or in better shape
~ 55% don’t tell their wives or deny cheating even when confronted with evidence
~ 48% say cheating is about an emotional disconnection from their wives
~ 12% would cheat no matter what
~
* Men are much more emotional than women realize. Husbands regard pleasing their wives as akin to ‘winning.’ If they feel valued, they won’t stray; but if they feel under-appreciated they turn elsewhere or behave in ways that push their wives away. Men who try to please their wives but are met with criticism begin to think they can’t win. *
~
“Appreciation is what they first and foremost get from the mistress,” said Neuman.
~
Finding out the truth is another matter. Neuman’s study found that if a husband cheats, there’s a 93% chance he won’t admit it. And 12% of the men he surveyed will cheat no matter what.
~
M. Gary Neuman is a licensed psychotherapist and rabbi who has counseled thousands of couples over 24 years. After talking to many men who have strayed, Neuman has identified some of the most significant relationship issues that lead to infidelity.

Cheating Survey Finds That People Cheat With People Less Attractive Than Their Spouses

The age-old assumption that people cheat because with someone better looking than their current partner may not actually be true, according to a new survey by Victoria Milan, a dating site for married people looking to have an affair.

The website polled over 4,000 of their members and found that most people using the site consider their significant others to be more attractive than their affair partners.

Interestingly, male respondents said they consider their significant others superior to their affair partners in other ways as well. Only 30 percent of men cheated with women younger than their current partners, and only a quarter of the men found their mistresses more interesting or more in shape than their partners.

So why cheat at all? Men admitted that they found their mistresses to be more passionate, better listeners and more caring than their significant others.

Over half of the female respondents also found their significant others to be more attractive than their affair partners, but 50 percent said their lovers were in better shape. Similar to the male respondents, women reported that their affair partners listen better and are more passionate than their man at home. And a whopping 89.6 percent of the women indicated that the man they’re cheating with makes them feel more appreciated than their significant other.

This isn’t the first time a dating site for cheaters has looked into the habits and preferences of its users. Ashley Madison, another dating website for people already in relationships, found that cheating men love drinking Guinness. And in August, the same site revealed what affair anthems cheating spouses prefer. Check out the slideshow below to see which songs cracked the top ten.

Identify Eating Triggers

Posted in LIFESTYLE CHANGES tagged , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , at 1:59 am by PCOSLady

Eating Triggers
~
Weight issues plague us with PCOS, for most its much harder to lose weight than normal women… By knowing your trigger(s) you are able to choose a better lifestyle choice in eating… You may learn more about “you” too!
~
Hope all this helps you in your journey and makes you the healthiest you can be!
~
Your weight loss & attitude will then change your life in many ways!
~
Happy lifestyle changing…
Christie
~
How Can I Identify Eating Triggers?
~
Situations and emotions that trigger us to eat fall into five main categories:
~
SOCIAL: Eating when around other people. For example, excessive eating can result from being encouraged by others to eat; eating to fit in; arguing; or feelings of inadequacy around other people.
~
EMOTIONAL: Eating in response to boredom, stress, fatigue, tension, depression, anger, anxiety, or loneliness as a way to “fill the void.”
~
SITUATIONAL: Eating because the opportunity is there. For example, at a restaurant, seeing an advertisement for a particular food, passing by a bakery. Eating may also be associated with certain activities such as watching TV, going to the movies or a sporting event, etc…
~
THOUGHTS: Eating as a result of negative self-worth or making excuses for eating. For example, scolding oneself for looks or a lack of will power.
~
PHYSIOLOGICAL: Eating in response to physical cues. For example, increased hunger due to skipping meals or eating to cure headaches or other pain.
