~ I have all my test results from 2003… I do glance back at them at times…
~ A little known symptom is having hair on top of your toes…
~
A few more odd symptoms are stray dark hairs on your above lip, your chin, your breast and inner thighs…

Interesting to know the symptoms and what lowers testosterone…

~
http://www.ehow.com/facts_4962570_causes-high-testosterone-women_.html
~
SYMPTOMS OF HIGH TESTOSTERONE IN WOMEN
~
High testosterone symptoms include hair loss, hirsutism (unwanted male-pattern hair growth), unexplained rapid weight gain, virilization, acne, aggressiveness, irritability and missed menstrual cycles. Decreased breast size and a deepening of the voice will occur along with a coarsening of the skin.
~
CAUSES: HORMONAL IMBALANCES
~
The main causes of high testosterone in females are hormonal imbalances that can happen at any age, and often sneak up gradually, with the 30s being the predominant time for things to get worse.
~
COMMON TESTOSTERONE INCREASING DISEASES
~
Adrenal gland disorders and ovarian problems, often caused by other hormonal imbalances, create an over-abundance of testosterone. The most common testosterone-increasing disease is polycystic ovarian syndrome. Diabetes can also lead to these endocrine upsets.
~
RARER DISORDERS THAT CAUSE HIGH TESTOSTERONE
~
Other disorders that cause high testosterone in women include acromegaly, adrenal neoplasm disorders, Conn’s syndrome, Cushing’s syndrome, dwarfism, gigantism or multiple endocrine neoplasm 1 and 2. An androgen-producing adrenal or ovarian tumor can lead to high levels of testosterone, as can congenital adrenal hyperplasia and thyroid disorders in general.

SOLUTIONS FOR HIGH TESTOSTERONE IN WOMEN
~
By Juliana Robertson, eHow Contributor
Testosterone is produced in the ovaries and adrenal glands of women. High testosterone levels in women tend to cause a variety of issues. Elevated levels of this male synonymous hormone can cause excessive facial hair, increased muscle mass, waistline body fat and adult onset acne. The most common cause of this testosterone increase in women is Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome. This disorder causes multiple cysts like follicles to accumulate in the ovaries. The ovary begins to produce and secrete high levels of testosterone.
~
LIFESTYLE CHANGES
~
Implementing changes to your lifestyle can effectively reduce high testosterone levels. Low risk changes include reducing stress levels and following a healthy eating regimen. Women with testosterone imbalances have successfully lost weight through following a low carbohydrate/diabetic eating plan. Adding fruit, salad, fish, poultry and nuts to your diet can help to reduce testosterone levels. Consuming fried, sugary and oily foods contribute to testosterone increases and weight gain. Practicing stress reduction techniques, like yoga and meditation, can be extremely beneficial. Combining these practices with regular exercise and a balanced diet will help to improve your overall quality of health.
~
NATURAL REMEDIES
~
Alternative medicine is an effective way to treat elevated testosterone levels safely and naturally. This approach involves little to no risk, with various therapies utilized for treatment. Herbal remedies effectively treat testosterone imbalances at its source. These options are easy to follow, and cost effective. Two types used for treatment are Phytoestrogenic and Non estrogenic herbs. Phytoestrogenic herbs (ex: black cohosh) contain plant manufactured estrogen. They help to alleviate imbalances through introducing additional hormones within the body. Non estrogenic herbs (ex: macafem) do not contain any estrogen properties. They stimulate natural hormonal production by nourishing endocrine and pituitary glands. They balance testosterone naturally by stimulating the body to produce its own hormones.

MEN ON CHEATING

Why Do Men Cheat?
~
PCOS Lady
I have been watching and hearing about women push their men away for years… You know who you are! Then those women get infuriated at their men and his new “woman” that they caused to happen!
~ For years i have been bombarded by men of all ages (20’s through 70’s) … I asked every one that was attached why he was looking outside his relationship… I then asked if they talked to their partners about it and their woman’s reply… Most women refused to talk about it! Most had hormone imbalance issues! Issues they refused to have looked into with a doctor!
~ Men seek what they do not have with their wife at home!
~ Men tell me they love their wife…
FACT: Men show their love for you in making love to you!
~ If you are refusing his love making you are not wanting him!
~ Affection counts big with men as well!
~
Women, you must look at yourself and weigh if he is what you want in life, etc…
~
If he is not your “perfect” man, turn him lose without:
~ “breaking” him over your mistakes!
~ punishment
~ abuse of various kinds and degrees
~ a vendetta schemed out over years
~ a nasty divorce
~ etc…
* THANK YOU! … When you treat your men bad, it really makes it rough on the next woman! You know the truth of a scorned woman, it goes both ways in various degrees, etc… *
~ KARMA… Read up on it!
~
Women please own up to your mistakes and get help!
~ You know who you are…
~ Fix, resolve your childhood issues!
~ Fix, resolve issues from past men in your life!
~ Learn how to love “YOU”, then you can love a man…
~ Oh, there are far more females in the world then there are men!
FACT: Females are complex (men try to figure us out), men are simple in their thinking, etc…
~
FACT:
* “Good” and honest men are out there… *

Why Do Men Cheat?
~
It’s Not Just About Sex…and She May Not Be Any Better-Looking Than You
~
Some men cheat… Faithful mean are out there….
Some statistics say that roughly 50% of married men will cheat, and the vast majority won’t admit to it even after a woman asks the searing question, “Have you been unfaithful to me?”
~
A marriage counselor for over 20 years, rabbi and author Gary Neuman conducted a two-year study involving 200 men — 100 who cheated and 100 who remained faithful. His findings form the basis of his 2008 book The Truth About Cheating: Why Men Stray and What You Can Do To Prevent It.
~
Of the men surveyed:
~
~ 92% say it’s not just about sex
~ 88% say the other woman isn’t better looking or in better shape
~ 55% don’t tell their wives or deny cheating even when confronted with evidence
~ 48% say cheating is about an emotional disconnection from their wives
~ 12% would cheat no matter what
~
* Men are much more emotional than women realize. Husbands regard pleasing their wives as akin to ‘winning.’ If they feel valued, they won’t stray; but if they feel under-appreciated they turn elsewhere or behave in ways that push their wives away. Men who try to please their wives but are met with criticism begin to think they can’t win. *
~
“Appreciation is what they first and foremost get from the mistress,” said Neuman.
~
Finding out the truth is another matter. Neuman’s study found that if a husband cheats, there’s a 93% chance he won’t admit it. And 12% of the men he surveyed will cheat no matter what.

Cheating Survey Finds That People Cheat With People Less Attractive Than Their Spouses

The age-old assumption that people cheat because with someone better looking than their current partner may not actually be true, according to a new survey by Victoria Milan, a dating site for married people looking to have an affair.

The website polled over 4,000 of their members and found that most people using the site consider their significant others to be more attractive than their affair partners.

Interestingly, male respondents said they consider their significant others superior to their affair partners in other ways as well. Only 30 percent of men cheated with women younger than their current partners, and only a quarter of the men found their mistresses more interesting or more in shape than their partners.

So why cheat at all? Men admitted that they found their mistresses to be more passionate, better listeners and more caring than their significant others.

Over half of the female respondents also found their significant others to be more attractive than their affair partners, but 50 percent said their lovers were in better shape. Similar to the male respondents, women reported that their affair partners listen better and are more passionate than their man at home. And a whopping 89.6 percent of the women indicated that the man they’re cheating with makes them feel more appreciated than their significant other.

This isn’t the first time a dating site for cheaters has looked into the habits and preferences of its users. Ashley Madison, another dating website for people already in relationships, found that cheating men love drinking Guinness. And in August, the same site revealed what affair anthems cheating spouses prefer. Check out the slideshow below to see which songs cracked the top ten.

2004 PCOS Statistics

Posted in FACT tagged , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , at 6:47 pm by PCOSLady

PCOS Lady: I found these statistics posted on a blog or site in 2004 or 2005… Makes you think how the numbers have increased and maybe decreased over the years… This was the reality of PCOS in 2004!
~ ~ ~
PCOS
2004 Statistics

~ ~ ~
•~ 6-10% of all Females; ages 5+ years, are PCOS
~
•~ 30% of all PCOSers register as Insulin Resistant
~
•~ 50% of all PCOSers are overweight
~
•~ 40% (up to) of “Unexplained Infertility” patients are actually PCOS and don’t even know it!
~
•~ 30% of all PCOSers do not present cysts
~
•~ 20% of “Abnormal Glucose Tolerance” tests are PCOS
~
•~ 40% of “Abnormal Glucose Tolerance” develop diabetes or impaired glucose tolerance by age 40
~
•~ 20% of all infertility patients deal with ovulation problems
~
•~ 5% of all infertility patients treat their infertility
~
•~ 15% of all infertility patients treat their infertility in a mandated state for infertility coverage insurance
~
•~ 75% of all IVF patients deliver a singleton
~
•~ 20% of all IVF patients deliver twins
~
•~ 5% of all IVF patients deliver triplets
~
•~ 25% of normal pregnancies end in miscarriage
~
•~ 35-40% of PCOS pregnancies end in miscarriage. This is a 10-15% increase risk over ‘normal’ pregnancies.
~
I hope these statistics show you many things… 1st your doctors might be unaware of PCOS and its extremes… 2nd it effects your young girls… Bullying is an epidemic today, weight being a main cause… 3rd you may need to change your direction of testing, treatments, etc… 4th you may gained peace of mind in knowing more of what “it” might be or is… ETC… “IT” depends on YOU since PCOS effects every woman differently… Treatment varies for each woman too!
~
I am a firm believer many relationships, marriages and abuse of various degrees would be decreased IF we all know about PCOS…
~ If a female gains 100lbs over a year or close to it, she may have PCOS… Many females fall in to depression or hurt themselves when the weight will not go away!
~
* Have them tested for PCOS, a thyroid disorder or another hormone imbalance… Might be something else…
~

SMELLS WRONG! NUMBERS INCREASING, DOCTORS INTERPRET PCOS ANY WAY THEY LIKE, ETC.... SOMETHING HAS TO HAPPEN! 2004 THE AACE MADE PCOS A DOCTOR'S PRIORITY!
