Why do you want blood work…it always comes back normal? –
Unless the physician has been trained in functional medicine (medicine that deals with primary prevention and underlying causes instead of symptoms for serious chronic disease. They often don’t receive the training to analyze labs other than to look at ranges. Functional medicine is grounded in the following principles:Biochemical individuality, dynamic balance, everything is connected, health is not the absence of disease and the enhancing organ function. Lab work is not to be relied on as the only diagnosis but can offer a piece of the puzzle and I use it to build my care plan and my approach.

I live 1,000 miles away. Do you offer remote consultations?
I do. There is much we can do using the modern technology we have today with skype, teleseminars, webinars, e-mail and other. Often, the patients I work with remotely use my services to fill in and compliment what they are already doing.
~
Do I have to get my amalgams out before I see you?
The answer is NO. A large part of our protocol is preparing the patient for proper amalgam removal. We have found some patients get worse if the mercury/amalgams are not removed properly or the organs of detoxification and elimination have not been properly prepared
~
What labs do you offer?
We can provide lab kits for hair tissue mineral analysis, environmental pollutants testing, organic acids, hormone testing and Complete Blood Chemistry. Others as deemed necessary.
~
Why do you want to know about my teeth?
The teeth and a patient’s dental history are vital to understanding systemic health. Did you know each tooth sits on a meridian which has a direct pathway to each organ such as the kidney, liver and gallbladder. Click here to view more.http://mercuryfreedentistga.com/education/tooth-organ-chart

SYMPTOMS

Hundreds of symptoms may be due to chronic mercury toxicity. The organ most affected is often the brain, and children suffer the most from many mercury-related disorders. Mercury may be a factor in increasing birth defect rates, autism and other developmental delays, ADHD and other learning disorders, anxieties, bipolar disorder, obsessive-compulsive behavior, panic attacks, neuroses and paresthesias. A medical colleague reports that every case of multiple sclerosis he has seen involves mercury.

The “mat hatters” of the Alice In Wonderland story were real people who worked in the hat industry in the nineteenth century. Many became mentally ill due to rubbing mercury on felt or hides to soften it.
Here is a long list of symptoms and conditions that may be associated with mercury. Note that mercury toxicity is usually found with copper toxicity, and perhaps other metal toxicity. So it is not always possible to separate the cause of the symptoms exactly:
~ Acne – Opportunistic infections cause by general immune suppression.
~ Adrenal insufficiency and burnout.
~ Allergies – Gut wall deterioration via mutated intestinal flora)
~ Anorexia
· ~ Apathy, Feelings of (especially toward property and personal affairs)
· ~ Asthma
· ~ Ataxia
· ~ Autism (contrary to popular belief, there is very strong medical evidence linking autism to mercury)
· ~ Nearsightedness & Farsightedness (by altering interocular fluid eye pressure)
· ~ Autoimmune Diseases (through methionine mimicry and other processes)
· ~ Amylotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS)
· ~ Ankylosing spondylitis
· ~ Arterial Sclerosis
· ~ Mercury activates an enzyme called phospholipase D (PLD) in cells which line blood vessel walls (endothelial cells). This activation causes the release of phosphatidic acid which damages the cells.(2) These damaged cells then accumulate cholesterol-based plaque leading to arterial sclerosis.
· ~ Kuopio Ischemic Heart Disease Risk Factor (KIHD) study: 2,005 men (ages 42 to 60) without heart disease are divided into four groups based on hair-mercury content and tracked for an average of 12 years. Those in the top 25 percent for hair mercury had a 60% increased risk of death from CVD. Those same men had a 70% increased risk of coronary heart disease.(7)
· ~ Myasthenia Gravis
· ~ Parkinson’s Disease
· ~ Acid Reflux – Caused by reduced digestive fluid production.
· ~ Alzheimer’s Disease (See Beating Alzheimer’s) Quote From Book Review: “He had the mercury removed from his teeth and it did not change things. However, some time later when his gums were x-rayed a tiny sliver of mercury was found in the gum tissue. He had surgery to remove this minute piece of mercury and at the moment of its removal he experienced complete lucidity.”

Symptoms may be ill-defined because the exact location and the amount of mercury vary with each individual. Metal toxicity is unlike many infections that have well-defined symptom presentations.

DETECTION

Chronic mercury toxicity does not receive more attention because it is difficult to detect. Simple blood or urine tests are practically useless because the body quickly removes mercury from the blood. It often settles deep in the tissues of the brain, kidneys and liver.

Urine or Feces Challenge Tests. These are common methods for detecting chronic mercury. A high dose of DMPS, a chelating drug that is not safe, is often administered. Then urine is collected for 24-hour hours and analyzed for mercury. The test is almost always “positive”. This may be because mercury is high in many sick people. However, the lab and doctor must be careful not to confuse a “normal” mercury with a mercury produced by a challenge test.
Other problems with this test are that it misses a lot of mercury. The drug does not penetrate the blood-brain barrier very well, so it often misses this key organ where mercury accumulates.

Hair Tissue Biopsy. Any hair level of mercury above about 0.02 mg% is too much in my view. Mercury does not always accumulate in large quantity in the hair. In my experience, however, the hair mineral test provides indicators of ‘hidden mercury’ that are relatively reliable as well. These include:
· An elevated copper above about 2.5 mg%.
· Hidden copper toxicity indicators such as a high hair calcium, a low hair potassium, a low sodium/potassium ratio and a low zinc level. For more on copper, read Copper Toxicity Syndrome.
· Indicators for a hidden zinc deficiency. For more information about zinc, read Zinc on this website.
· Elevated levels of cadmium, arsenic or aluminum often indicate the presence of hidden mercury.

Using these criteria, most people have excess mercury today. This is no surprise. I assume excess mercury is present and contributing to chronic health problems today, especially for those who were vaccinated, those who eat fish at least twice weekly and for those who have or had dental amalgams in their mouths.

Other detection methods. A few practitioners use electrical machines or applied kinesiology techniques (muscle checking) to identify mercury problems. These methods are okay, but are dependent on the skill and clarity of the operator.

A liter of diet drink gives the same methanol (wood alcohol) as the smoke from a pack of cigarettes, 60 mg — methanol has a half-life in the human bloodstream of 3 hours, showing that its elimination is slow, while it reaches every part of the body and the fetus every minute.
~
Methanol is actually less toxic than ethanol, except when it goes easily into cells that also happen to have high levels of free floating ADH1 enzyme, in 19 specific human tissues, including inner walls of blood vessels in the brain and eye, as well as in the rods and cones of the retina — the methanol is made quickly into free floating formaldehyde inside these cells, where it naturally wrecks havoc, interfering with all biochemistry, just as in its well known uses for embalming and sterilizing medical tools.
~
The resulting stew of formaldehyde modified proteins activates the inflammation process of the immune system, producing complex evolving pussy lesions — brain in Alzheimer’s and multiple sclerosis, inner walls of blood vessels in atherosclerosis, skin fibroblasts in lupus, pancreas in diabetes 2, retina in macular degeneration, joint fibroblasts in rheumatoid arthritis

“Methanol travels easily to breast tissue and has been found in human milk. 219

The cells that produce milk within the breast, cells prone to develop
the most common of breast cancers, adenocarcinoma 358, contain high

formaldehyde, highly reactive on both sides of molecule ].

Tapeworms and Ascaris … In Relation to HIV/AIDS sufferers

~
Tapeworm Disease
We all have tapeworm stages in our bodies, probably going back to childhood when we ate dirt. It is not normal for these stages to hatch and develop further. Their purpose is to stay dormant. And perhaps they do little harm this way.
~
But I have found that all HIV/AIDS sufferers have “tapeworm disease”. The stages are hatching. This spews the tiny larvae and cysts, plus unfertilized eggs and their bacteria all over the body, making you feel sick. Perhaps the large amounts of solvents accumulated in the body forces them to hatch; perhaps the lowered immunity allows them to hatch. The Syncrometer usually detects scolices (heads) and eggs in the most vital organs: the thymus, spleen, bone marrow, brain and liver.
~
Tapeworm stages that have disseminated in your body do not come unaccompanied, either. They bring some very harmful bacteria and viruses with them. Streptomyces fungus is one of the worst. Wherever I detect Streptomyces, a tapeworm stage is not far away.

IR – Insulin Resistance

Posted in IR - Insulin Resistance tagged , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , at 6:40 am by PCOSLady

IR – Insulin Resistance
~
Insulin resistance is a condition in which the body produces insulin but does not use it properly. Insulin, a hormone made by the pancreas, helps the body use glucose for energy. Glucose is a form of sugar that is the body’s main source of energy.
~
When people are insulin resistant, their muscle, fat, and liver cells do not respond properly to insulin. As a result, their bodies need more insulin to help glucose enter cells. The pancreas tries to keep up with this increased demand for insulin by producing more. Eventually, the pancreas fails to keep up with the body’s need for insulin. Excess glucose builds up in the bloodstream, setting the stage for diabetes. Many people with insulin resistance have high levels of both glucose and insulin circulating in their blood at the same time.

IR effects so many of us by way of Diabetes, PCOS, and on & on involving your endocrine system plus more systems … 3 of 4 in the medical doctor pool are suggesting natural ways to manage your IR condition today… Ask your doctor!
~ Look in to the natural possibilities to manage your IR…
~
PCOS Lady:
~ I am against poisoning my body with drugs… A natural babe with most i say…
~ April 2012: I’m back on Glucophage XR 500mg/daily i must use to get rid of my IR fat i call it… Errrr! Gluc is like a “miracle” pill for me… The side effects are mostly pluses too…
~ I have tried losing the IR fat a few months now with no luck… My body started taking from my muscle mass! Clue- peeing like a race horse at times…
~ My Asian MD in California told me to use Glucophage XR as a maintenance pill… I may have to split the pill or take it every other day, etc… per him to find what works for me…

Medical research has now identified insulin resistance as a serious condition that causes your cells to become insensitive to insulin. When people suffering from excess weight or obesity fail to address insulin resistance, the possibility of severe complications such as cardiovascular disease, high blood pressure and sexual dysfunction can dramatically accelerate.
~
The medical community is now beginning to understand how vital it is for our cells to receive the correct amounts of nutrients and minerals – such as alpha-lipoic acid, chromium, vitamin D and magnesium – in order to effectively process insulin and glucose.
~
Tests:
In order to process insulin and glucose properly you need to have these nutrients and mineral levels checked:
~ alpha-lipoic acid
~ chromium
~ vitamin D
~ Magnesium

CLEANSING TIME… EVERY 3 YEARS “ONLY”…

~
Cleanse List

per Dr Glenn Gero

~
Quote: “Wellness is NOT A PART TIME JOB!” by Dr. Glenn Gero
~
~ Colon Cleanse
~ Heavy Metal Cleanse
~ Candida Cleanse
~ Kidney & Gall Bladder Cleanse
~ Liver Cleanse
~ Parasite Cleanse
~
Notes:
– Repeat these every 3 years…
~
* F.Y.I:
Cleanses:
~ Cleanses should only be done every three (3) years… Any sooner you destroy the good bacteria, etc… in your body… More medical problems are then possibly created!
~
Yeast:
~ Candida Cleanse is important if you have taken antibiotics… They leave a yeast residue in you which in years may flare up through your whole body! You will feel fatigued which progresses to lethargic then may end in death… Yeast clogs your liver, etc…
~
Hair Sample:
~ A hair strand test will reveal your mineral levels and many other things in you!
~
PCOS Lady highly suggests you have the hair strand tested by a naturalist or homeopathic doctor… You will know numerous things about “YOU”! It shows all mineral levels you have and what is needed, etc…
~
Bald and no hair, i am waiting on a friend to find out what he needs to do, etc…

~ Dr L Wilson … Find a Doctor near you for hair analysis…
~ I called a doctor near me and was told $149, 2 CD’s and a detailed report… She explained all your minerals have to be in line… Then you will not get sick!
* Hmmm! Doctors rarely ever check all your minerals and vitamins!!!!!
