Female Hormonal Imbalance

YEAST and PARASITES
~
PCOS Lady:
Ladies, these symptoms are what many of us experience! Many doctors treat the disease in us not us in disease… Which means we are always sick, not feeling our best! Homeopath treats “YOU” naturally! Dr Tien says to treat yeast and parasites together to rid them from you… I have read you have to treat the whole “YOU” at one time since parasites scurry to other areas in your body…
~
Natural Remedies for Female Hormonal Imbalance
~
By Dr. Juliet Tien (Dr. J), D.N. Sc.
~ ~ ~
There are more than 250,000 species of yeasts and parasites. I can not describe them all. The above are most commonly seen among the people in Northern America. In other words, you have been feeding an “extended family” involuntarily. Not only do yeasts and parasites suck your energy, they also deposit toxins after they have a rock ‘n roll party in your body. That’s why you feel fatigued, and also suffer allergy symptoms.
~
This article addresses female hormonal imbalance. Let me ask you a few questions, and please answer honestly.
~
* ~ Have you been plagued with itchy, foul-smelling, yellowish vaginal discharge?
* ~ Do you experience pain during sexual intercourse?
* ~ Are you avoiding sex because you are always tired?
* ~ Are you lethargic no matter how much time you’ve stayed in bed?
* ~ Are your menstrual cycles irregular and painful?
* ~ Are you bothered by menopausal symptoms such as hot flashes, night sweats, sugar craving, weight gain, and loss of libido?
* ~ Are you troubled by mood swings?
~
If any of the above symptoms apply to you, then you suffer from hormonal imbalance knowingly or unknowingly. In order to regain the long-lasting balance, the following are essential natural remedies for you to consider:
~
Yeast-Free Nutritional Program:
All human beings, regardless of gender and age, should adopt a yeast-free nutritional program to regain health and balance. A yeast-free nutritional program contains no sugar, no dairy, no wheat, no yeasts, no alcohol, no caffeine, no nicotine, nor chemicals.
~
You might ask, “What can I eat then?” To learn about the details in terms of what you can eat, and what you should avoid, read my two books, Breaking the Yeast Curse: Food and Unconditional Love for Magic Healing and Healthy and Tasty: Dr. J’s Anti-Yeast Cooking. These books may be available in your local libraries in the U.S.
~
You may deviate from the principles of a yeast-free nutritional program from time to time. As long as you go for moderation, occasional deviation will not spoil your yeast-free nutritional program completely. Do whatever you can. If you could do 50%, you will get 50% of the benefits. If you could do 70%, you will get 70% of the benefits. Don’t wait for the perfect time to start this life-changing nutritional program, because a perfect time may never come!
~
Yeast and parasites are like “Siamese Twins.” They go hand in hand. However, in the herbal market today, you will find herbal formulas for removing yeasts or parasites, but not for both. This is because of the manufacturers’ lack of understanding about how the overgrowth of yeast and parasites occur. In order to enjoy long-lasting health benefits, you must control the overgrowth of yeasts and parasites simultaneously.
~
In addition to a yeast-free nutritional program, if your body is too toxic, you need to consider herbal therapy as well. The following types of herbal formulas are proven to be most effective in helping thousands of my clients regain their hormonal balance.

Hyperthyroidism vs Hypothyroidism Symptoms

Posted in ENDOCTRINE DISORDER, MISDIAGNOSED, RELATED: HORMONES tagged , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , at 11:30 pm by PCOSLady

HYPERTHYROIDISM vs HYPOTHYROIDISM SYMPTOMS

~
PCOS Lady:
Many PCOS ladies will also have a thyroid issue… I have posted the symptoms and info to help you tell the differences and be better informed…
~
Seeing an endocrinologist is your best choice of doctors. Your doctor may tell you your thyroid was fine after a TSH only. Some people see multiple doctors before being told they have a thyroid problem. You may be misdiagnosed with depression or Diabetes or not diagnosed with anything!
~ Keeping a list of your symptoms will help in getting diagnosed properly…
~ Be sure your doctor addresses all your concerns and symptoms…
~
SYMPTOMS COUNT
!
~
Your symptoms will show you have a thyroid problem. You may be hyperthyroid or hypothyroidism. Absence of periods leans to Hashimoto’s hypothyroidism.

~
Hypothyroidism Symptoms:
~

~ weight gain, difficulty losing weight
~ depression and depressed mood
~ joint and muscle pain, headaches
~ dry skin, brittle nails
~ brittle hair, itchy scalp, hair loss

~ breast milk formation
~ calcium metabolism difficulties
~ difficulty tolerating cold and lower body temperature
~ constipation
~ sleeping more than average

~ persistent cold sores, boils, or breakouts
~ tingling sensation in wrists and hands that mimics carpal tunnel syndrome
~ memory loss, fuzzy thinking, difficulty following conversation or train of thought
~ slowness or slurring of speech
~
Different sources vary the symptoms lists. Keep in mind that, as with many medical disorders, you may only have a few of the symptoms. And just because you don’t have a hallmark symptom of a disorder doesn’t mean you don’t have it.
~
Many times basic and general tests will not reveal certain problems like thyroid disease, prediabetes. You may need to insist on more detailed, targeted tests, even if you feel you have an excellent doctor.
~
SYMPTOMS COUNT!

Diets, Experiences, Sites, Plus…

Posted in LIFESTYLE CHANGES tagged , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , at 4:25 am by PCOSLady

I KNOW I CAN HAVE THIS CARROT!

PCOS Lady:
Everyone,
~
I have tried a few diet methods (Jenny Craig, Weight Watchers and my own combination) … I researched diets and methods… I love forums for 1st hand experiences, tricks, secrets, etc…
~
I am a firm believer to look into all weight loss, diet, lifestyle change options, have “key” tests done before starting a plan or having weight loss surgery done…
~ I prefer eating natural and good foods to lose… Back to basics mainly…
(a high protein, complex & low carb diet, is my lifestyle)
~ Glucophage XR 500mg/daily gets rid of my tummy and abdomen pounds….
(my body can’t tolerate sugar & flour, i wear it all!)
~ Will power, determination, variety in food, in moderation, portion control, etc…
are all needed to lose weight and maintain your desired weight and size…
~ Yes, i feel you must cheat 1 meal a week to make to the next week…
~
PCOS Lady:
This test was found real deep in heart information…
~
Get a blood test done called Serum Insulin Level test?
~ A blood test, level should be under 11 to lose weight…
~ If 12 and higher you need a strict diet, hard exercise or you may have a hormone imbalance or something else….
~
Doctors rarely ever test this! You are told to beat yourself up eating less and exercising more! If you knew your number the steps would be crystal clear on steps before thinking of drastic weight loss surgeries…
~
Look at my newest post for the Hormone Balance Test…. You could have PCOS or a thyroid disorder….
~
The KEY i read was nothing really is working and you gain abit, etc… I was there too!
~
Just read the intense forum at http://www.3fatchicks.com… You may find something there as well…
~
Best wishes in losing your weight!

A Woman Who Wants to Lose Weight
~
The recommended carb range:
2-3.5 carb choices per meal
(30-55 g carbs per meal)
~
If you feel like you need a snack between meals, choose one that has less than 7-10 grams of carbohydrate per serving.
~
Carb Tip: Go for the carbs from fruits and veggies first. “For people who are wanting to lose weight, it’s important to look at the balance between all of their nutrients. All carbs are not created equally, but carbs from whole foods such as fruit are much better choices than those from highly processed foods,” says Donna Kernodle, R.D., M.P.H., CDE with the Diabetes Care Center at Wake Forest University’s Baptist Medical Center.

A Man Who Wants to Lose Weight
~
The recommended carb range:
3-4 carb choices per meal
(50-65 g carbs per meal)
~
If you feel like you need a snack between meals, choose one that has less than 7-10 grams of carbohydrate per serving.
~
Carb Tip: Drink calorie- and carb-free fluids when you’re feeling hungry. “A lot of people mistake hunger for thirst,” Kernodle says. Most people aren’t keeping themselves adequately hydrated, causing a sense of hunger when they’re actually thirsty.
~
What It Takes to Lose Weight
Losing weight is all about numbers: You need to burn 3,500 calories to lose 1 pound.

~
Easy Calorie Conversions
~
We’re often encouraged to be carb conscious, which can be helpful for blood sugar control but not necessarily good for your weight. Calories still count. Some foods can be low in carbohydrate and high in calories. For example, an 8-ounce steak and a 16-ounce steak both have 0 grams of carbohydrate. But you still need to count the calories that come from protein and fat; you may be consuming more calories than you realize.
~
Here are some easy calorie conversions:
1 gram of carbohydrate = 4 calories
1 gram of protein = 4 calories
1 gram of fat = 9 calories
~
Adopt one (or more) of the following tips to sensibly trim calories every day.
~
ckswenson1 says:
Do not use fat-free dressings. A small study published in the August 2004 issue of the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition showed that our bodies don’t absorb such important protective antioxidants as beta-carotene, alpha-carotene or lycopene from vegetables unless we eat them accompanied by some fat. I am surprised that a dietician would not know that..
~
Tests
~
1) * Serum Insulin Level blood test… A “KEY” test to know if you can actually lose weight with out added interventions… Result of #11 and lower means you can lose… Result of #12 or higher means you are guaranteed not to lose! You will need help from harder exercise & stricter dieting to lower the number 1st or medical help…
~ Doctors rarely ever do this test, they say diet & exercise or jump right to Gastric Bypass Surgery!
2) Have … hormones… lipids panel… CMP/basic metabolic panel… insulin… checked before choosing a diet or option method …
( you may have a hormone imbalance which can throw your body off!
~
YOU know your body! You know what type eating habits work for you… Or try a few before thinking of drastic measures…
~ Gastric Bypass Surgery is trauma to your body… Most people put weight back on!
~ Lap Band surgery… I feel is far better for you than Gastric Bypass surgery…
~
Diet Types:
Cleanse, Gluten Free, Health Food, High Carb, High Protein, Low Calorie, Low Carb, Low Fat, Low Protein, Low Sodium, Specific Food, Vegan, Vegetarian
~
I strongly suggest looking into Dr Simeons’ method before drastic surgery as an option…
We have heard of and read about Kevin Trudeau, he reports the truths… I have three of his books… Simeons “weight loss cure protocol” is mentioned in it…
~

Simeons “weight loss cure protocol”

~
In Kevin Trudeau’s The Weight Loss Cure, research confirms eating a very low calorie diet increases overall health, plus anti-aging effects and increases lifespan… Most importantly, is to combine the HCG injections which flood your body with over 2,000 calories of nutrition from releasing abnormal fat reserves… Both equal higher energy and not feeling hungry!
~
http://www.drsimeonspoundsandinches.com/simeons-weight-loss-cure/
~
However, clinical researches and real experiments show that both men and women can consume this hormone orally or inject in their body for a dramatic drop in weight.
~
HCG Diet Plan centers around a very low calorie diet, say 500 calorie a day. It burns the abnormal fat bank and release calories that increase metabolism and other physiological functions.
~
Overweight people who want to lose extra pounds from their body can start taking HCG oral drops, pills or intra-muscular injections. Everyday consumption of this glycoprotein substance can drop 1-3 lbs. So, shedding as much as 40 lbs in less than a month is possible.

~
Symptoms
~
Hypopituitarism is often progressive. Although the signs and symptoms can occur suddenly, usually they tend to develop gradually. They are sometimes vague and subtle and may be overlooked for many months or even years…
~
Signs and symptoms of hypopituitarism vary, depending on which pituitary hormones are deficient.
~
The signs and symptoms may include:
~
~ Fatigue
~ Headaches
~ Low tolerance for stress
~ Muscle weakness
~ Nausea
~ Constipation
~ Weight loss or gain
~ A decline in appetite
~ Abdominal discomfort
~ Sensitivity to cold or difficulty staying warm
~ Visual disturbances
~ Loss of underarm and pubic hair
~ Joint stiffness
~ Hoarseness
~ Facial puffiness
~ Thirst and excess urination
~ Low blood pressure
~ Light headed when standing
~
If you’re a man, you may also have signs and symptoms such as:
~
~ Loss of interest in sexual activity
~ Erectile dysfunction
~ Decrease in facial or body hair
~
If you’re a woman, you may develop:
~
~ Irregular or no menstrual periods
~ Infertility
~ Inability to produce milk for breast-feeding
~
Children may experience:
~
~ Stunted growth
~ Short stature
~ Slowed sexual development
~
When to see a doctor
If you develop signs and symptoms associated with hypopituitarism, see your doctor to determine the cause..
~
Also, if certain signs or symptoms of hypopituitarism develop suddenly — a severe headache or visual disturbances, confusion, or a drop in blood pressure — contact your doctor immediately. Such symptoms could represent sudden bleeding into the pituitary (pituitary apoplexy), which requires prompt medical attention.
~
Follow the Mayo Clinic link for complete information….
~~~~~~
My exhusband has suffered most all of the 1st list of symptoms all his life… Of late they have progressed aggressively… Doctors and hospitals have never found this diagnosis… I caught it watching Mystery Diagnosis and researched it on the net…. He felt totally relieved when i read him the symptoms to have found a diagnosis fitting his symptoms like a glove…
~
Note:
~ Some symptoms overlap those of PCOS and Fatigue… They are hormone disorders… Men, women and children are effected differently and treatment varies for each person…
